"Friendship is born at the moment..."

"Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: 'What! You, too? Thought I was the only one.'"
~ C.S. Lewis

This is so true! I think back to meeting a mom at the library or the playground and sharing the common bond of having children and sharing all that goes along with it.

- "You didn't sleep last night either? Oh, I thought I was the only one!"

- "You work at home too. Do you ever make business phone calls from your bedroom closet?"

- "You hate leaving the house with your toddler plastered to the door screaming "mama" with tears streaming down his face too! What tricks to you do? I ask my husband to lead him to the fridge and let him look in the exciting fridge for a snack."

- "You have mountains of clean laundry too? Where is yours? Each of my kids have a clean laundry basket in their rooms & it always seems full of the clean laundry instead of putting those clean clothes away where they belong! How frustrating!"

- "Nice to see you at McDonald's! Is your husband working late too & you don't feel like cooking?"

It's great to share with other mothers what is going on with your life. You are not alone! Chances are high that whatever is going in your life right another mother is going through that too or has gone through it!

You are NOT alone! Get to know the mother next to you wherever you go!
